Join Clean Oceans International and Rising Appalachia for a first time, free Coastal Cleanup!

We're fired up to bring together a day of action, in collaboration with the Beloved festival (belovedfestival.com), to reduce the amount of debris (plastic and otherwise) from a piece of the Oregon Coastline. Rising Appalachia and Clean Oceans International have teamed up with the Oregon State Parks System to provide a volunteer opportunity to monitor and remove trash as well as study micro-debris accumulation!

This is a day of direct action, positively impacting a coastal ecosystem. As well as a day of learning and awareness of plastic use and pollution. All the while enveloped in the natural beauty of South Beach State Park.

Check-in at 9:30am in parking lot at the end of Jetty rd. of South Beach State Park @ South Jetty.

A POT LUCK style lunch will be offered for nourishment to share. So bring along your favorite cup/mug/bowl!
Along with the music stylings of none other than Rising Appalachia.

Bags, gloves and snacks provided!
With coffee from Espresso 101 of Waldport, OR
Closed toed shoes highly recomended.
