8 Volunteers in 2 hours
7 bags — 150lbs
It was a wet and windy day for these 8 volunteers but they managed to collect 150lbs of debris off the beach North from the Nye Beach Turnaround as the South was flooded with water. Debris collection was focused on the cliff lines. A big thanks to those volunteers: Matthew Damiano, Shelby Walked, Stu Whitmore, Krystal Gilbert, Leo + 2 Children, and Sage DeLuna (Lead Volunteer and Newport Chapter Beach Cleanup Coordinator).
