Join the Newport Chapter for a fun-filled evening at Agate Beach! The ban on open beach fires is over so we'll be grilling up some brats, playing bocce ball and talking about how we can engage in the
Agate Beach Wayside Improvement project (bathrooms and showers for surfers!). Come learn about the project and share any ideas you've got.

We'll have refreshments and meat/veggie brats for all, but feel free to bring your own grub n' beverages too! If you're an enthusiast for Agate Beach recreation, whether it's walking your dog, surfing or just hanging with the kids, you'll be highly interested to learn about the new wayside project to help improve the safety and enjoyment of this special place which we'll be discussing. We're starting to gather interested folks to help pitch in on this project, engaging the community in it's construction and design has been important to both the City of Newport and the Newport Chapter of Surfrider Foundation so we hope to find a way to plug you in!
