The high influx of marine debris this winter is bad news for our beaches, but good news for our volunteers who love to clean the beach! That being said, if you're looking for some beach-cleaning-fun this Saturday come join us at either Nye Beach or the Agate Beach Headland. Surfrider members will be at both locations with supplies so spread the word and help keep our beaches clean!
Newport Oregon Beach Cleanups
Date: Saturday January 17th, 2pm-4pm
Two Locations: Nye Beach and Agate Beach Headlands

Location 2: Agate Beach Headlands, Lucky Gap Trail Parking area across from Surf Shop
Cleanup Details
Individuals have already removed hundreds of pounds from these beaches in recent weeks but there is still lots more plastic bins, bottles, rope, unrecognizable plastic debris, and crab floats.
We will meet at the two locations listed above and pick up debris both to the north and south of these locations. If you have questions please contact
