A limited number of beach registration slots will be available for some divisions - we're already booked full for Parent w/ child and the younger divisions are filling up quickly, so be sure and get your youngster on board! Beach registration will be limited to open slots on a first come, first serve basis. You must arrive and register on the beach no later than 8:30 am at the registration tent. There is still lots of room in the older kid categories and the best beginner division. We're super proud that Warm Current is again sponsoring this division, providing instruction, lessons and all the gear for the best beginner category, so don't be shy to have your young one join in the fun even if they've never surfed before! As a founding member of the Newport, OR Chapter, Charlie has greatly advanced Surfrider's mission through ocean conservation as the Oregon Policy Manager. He’s led a critical role in ocean protection through strategic engagement of our Oregon chapter network in policy initiatives, grassroots campaigns, and community-based projects. With a BS in Marine Biology and as a member of the Oregon Ocean Policy Advisory Council, Charlie’s ties to the ocean reach far and wide.
