Boardshorts and Bikinis Benefit - April 11

By

It's coming, the first in what may become an annual fundraiser event for the Surfrider Foundation Newport Chapter, the Boarshorts and Bikinis Benefit Bash! Not your typical Surfrider fundraiser, the event was conceived and sponsored by Dr. Ken Bishop of Integrated Body Fitness (1111 SW 10th St), where the event will kick off at 7pm, Friday April 11th.

BenefitBash2014

"The ocean health is paramount to our own health, says Dr. Ken Bishop, owner of Integrated Body Fitness. The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to preserving the health of our oceans and beaches and we're happy to be able to support them in their cause through a fun event, something a little different than maybe they are used to hosting." The event will feature local food, drinks, a small silent auction, a Pacific Northwest beach-inspired fashion show and wrap up with an awesome dance party featuring the Mix Tape Kids. The event name more implies a fun theme and less a dress code, so come dressed covered but with your most outrageous Hawaiian shirt or nautical theme attire (prize awarded)!

Tickets can be pre-purchased for $10 at Integrated Body Fitness or purchased at the door for $15 the night of the event.
