Tomorrow and Sunday are the last days to attack the crab gear and make it disappear! We need everyone! Regardless of what plans you have for the weekend (you won't believe mine!) we desperately need a FULL FORCE showing, both Saturday and Sunday!
The harbor seals really need our help on this one. Their fore flippers just can't seem to cut up and throw away all the crab gear like we can. I honestly bet that if we get 50 people out Saturday AND Sunday, the entire crab gear will be off the pristine beach, and that the harbor seals will be so thankful to have their pups without the threat of entanglement.
Please pass this on to everyone that you know so that they too can pass it on (Facebook!). We REALLY need people to show up en-mass to right this wrong.
Please set your alarms for 6am tomorrow April 27th, shower, hit the coffee (or tea if you're so inclined), and head on down to Yaquina Lighthouse. The morning air, along with being on the beach, will be invigorating and a beautiful place to start your day. And hey, it's not really work. It's just a bit of spring cleaning with tons of other cool people helping out!
